The University is hosting multiple ceremonies for the class of 2020 in Wagga and Bathurst between May 31 to June 25.
Former students from the Thurgoona campus can elect to attend the out-of-town ceremonies but there won't be any held locally.
In a statement Charles Sturt University said the ceremonies would be held at the educator's largest venues to accommodate as many guests as possible while meeting Covid-safe requirements.
CSU is expected to hold up to 38 ceremonies.

They university said due to government restrictions more ceremonies would occur, each with fewer guests than usual and the university had to adapt some of its usual locations.
"Our graduation ceremony venues have been selected based on venue availability, capacity requirements and the ability to ensure a Covid-safe ceremony," they said. Charles Sturt University will contact the 5,800 graduates which completed courses in 2020 to invite them to attend the ceremonies.
The events will include all the elements of a graduation, with guest alumni speakers, presentation of University Medals, professional photography sessions, and a hospitality area for graduates to socialise with friends and family following their ceremonies.
Last year's graduations were unable to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on mass gatherings.
