Josh Piterman, who will play a lead role in Phantom of the Opera in Sydney later this year, will perform in the city on Mother's Day.
Blue Ribbon North East branch president Graeme Simpfendorfer said the event had been secured for this region only.
"We're very proud to announce that we're having a one-off show at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre on Mother's Day," he said.
"We've been lucky to secure Josh Piterman in this show, and to have this concert to raise much-needed funds to put back into our health system locally.
"It definitely is an opportunity to have such an internationally renowned singer come up to the North East."
This fundraising event is in honour of Victorian Police officers who have died in the line of duty.
Detective Sergeant Simpfendorfer said the event would also significantly increase the foundation's fundraising efforts.
"We hope to raise somewhere between $5000 and $10,000 for this event," he said.
"Fundraising has certainly taken a hit like everything has in COVID, so we wanted to do something a bit different.
"The money will go directly back into the health services in the North East."
Northeast Health interim chief executive Fiona Shanks said the service appreciated the support of Blue Ribbon.
"All hospitals need more than what we can reasonably afford, so it's so important to have connections into the community, such as this one," she said.
"We're about to commence a major redevelopment of our hospital - we have a huge list of equipment, so we're really excited and looking forward to seeing if we can tick off something on that list from this wonderful day."
Josh Piterman, a Blue Ribbon Foundation ambassador, is considered one of the brightest stars of Australian Musical Theatre with lead roles in Westside Story and Cats.
