Six cars were targeted between 4.45am and 5.30am on Friday, with a chainsaw, whipper snipper, hand tools and camping equipment taken.
Leading Senior Constable Lucy Smith said the cars were parked on Finch, Loch and Ford streets, and some had been left unlocked.
