The impressive performance by Another One adds to the recent proud record of Southern District trainers in the lucrative $500,000 feature.
The Scott-trained Bennelong Dancer finished third in 2019.
The Scott Spackman-trained O'So Hazy also finished third in 2018.
Heywood felt Another One would be even better suited when he steps-up in distance and runs over a mile.
"He ran super," Heywood said.
"Once he gets to the mile you'll see the best of him."
