The Brookers were one of four Hume league clubs alongside Culcairn, Jindera and Henty to have their grounds resurfaced late last year.
The club was contemplating a switch of venues to give the surface an extra two weeks to recover.

However, president David Morton said a working bee conducted by club volunteers last Friday should ensure the surface is ready by the weekend.
"We expect the ground to be fine by the weekend. We had more than 20 volunteers on Friday with wheelbarrows and shovels filling in holes," Morton said.
