Firefighters from the Rural Fire Service were alerted to the incident about 11.35am on Thursday.
About a dozen firefighters attended the shed, near the Caltex petrol station on Hawkins Street, with support from about seven Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters.
The freestanding shed was gutted by fire.

Rural Fire Service Inspector Andrew Gray said crews prevented the blaze from spreading to other properties.
"The fire was contained to the shed," he said.
"It was a total loss.
"Rural Fire Service tankers from Howlong and Federation attended with Fire and Rescue."
The brick and steel shed wasn't being used.
The cause of the fire was unclear.
