Police spoke to the man in Smollett Street about 11.35pm on Sunday.
The 35-year-old was tested and taken to Albury Police Station for a further test, which showed a reading of 0.173.
IN OTHER NEWS:
His licence was suspended and he must face Albury court at a later date.
A Springhurst man also lost his licence after blowing 0.061 following a traffic stop on Wodonga Place, Albury, on Friday night.
