The Hawks had the most players on three points or more from the round and they all starred.
Rovers had seven, with Wodonga Raiders, Yarrawonga and Corowa-Rutherglen on six apiece, followed by Albury and Myrtleford on five each.
North Albury had the least with three.
Sydney Swans' VFL player Ryan Hebron carried Rovers' highest points (five), followed by co-coach Jamason Daniels, Matt Jones and Tyler Roos (four), with Tyler Cornish, Cal McFadden and Tom Thynne (three).
"If you're taking up points, you have to perform, otherwise you might not get a game, but it's a healthy position to be in," Hebron said.
The 188cm utility was superb, setting up McFadden for his first goal.
"If there's opportunities to play for the Swans, I'll play there, but I'm happy to come to this great club," he revealed.
"I haven't seen a place pumping like this after a win, the club just cares so much and it was good to get the win for them, look at this place, it's amazing."
It was just his second game after booting three goals against North Albury.
