The clash between Murray Magpies and Culcairn was abandoned early in the final quarter after a serious injury.
Magpies' Peter Falkner was heavily crunched in a marking contest about five minutes into the final term at Urana Road Oval on the weekend.
Murray Magpies coach Brett Argus said trainers decided against moving Falkner and called for an ambulance.

"The trainers didn't want to move Peter and it was 30 minutes to an ambulance arrived," Argus said.
"It was then decided to abandon the match.
"Peter spent quite a few hours on Saturday night in the emergency department but wasn't admitted into hospital because all the beds were taken.
"He has ended up with a fractured rib as well as a fractured ankle and a fair bit of ligament damage.
"Peter was going back on Monday to have further scans."
Culcairn were leading 11.9 (75) to 6.2 (38) when the match was abandoned.
