IN-HOUSE dining is back on the menu for Wodonga students after a year of closure owing to the global pandemic.
TAFE students in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality and Event Management courses will reopen The Valleys Restaurant on the West Wodonga campus for in-house service next week for the first time since 2019.
There will be seven themed restaurant services, which will be open to the public throughout the autumn/winter.
A Dietary-Friendly Lunch will launch The Valleys Restaurant dining series with an a la carte offering on Tuesday.
A two- or three-course German Bistro will follow on Tuesday, May 25.
Last year hospitality students polished their culinary skills on campus when restaurant services were converted to takeaway only, due to the requirements of the COVID-19 restrictions.
Commercial Cookery students created handmade pasta and accompanying sauces under the guidance of Andrea Burgio (Pincho's Catering, Andiamo Street Food) and cookery teachers.
