A: Luckily I did mine before we ran out of ice.
Q: It must have been a bizarre match to be part of?
A: Obviously every side has injuries but four hamstring injuries in the first quarter must be some sort of unofficial record.
Q: It was a brave effort by the Bulldogs to hit the front in the final quarter before the effort took its toll?
A: The boys could have quite easily rolled over and copped a flogging but full credit to them, they toughed it out with only 17 players. To be in front half-way through the last quarter was a massive effort but unfortunately they ran out of puff.
Q: Do you think COVID-19 and having 12 months off was a contributing factor to the crippling injury toll?
A: Possibly, especially with the older guys like myself. Having 18 months off football, I think it could be really interesting how many more injuries there are over the next month.
Q: Before injury, you were relishing your new role as a permanent forward after kicking a career best 10 goals against Mitta United?
A: My previous best haul was six and I was lucky enough to be on the end of some nice delivery. I've found playing forward is a lot easier on the body and hopefully it can prolong my career for at least this season and maybe again next year.

Wahgunyah v Yackandandah
Mitta United v Barnawartha

MATCH OF THE ROUND: THURGOONA v CHILTERN
It would be a long time since Chiltern started favourite against Thurgoona but that's the predicament the Swans find themselves in this weekend. Luke Brookes' charges have laid the foundations for a top-five finish and claimed the prized scalp of the defending premier at Thurgoona in 2019 in one of the upsets of the season. The Bulldogs' injury concerns will have the Swans licking their lips in anticipation of a comfortable victory.
Prediction: Chiltern by 36-points.
