A Wangaratta Highway Patrol member pulled over Rene Kink - known as the Incredible Hulk in his playing days - on Federation Way on November 29 last year.
He was unlicensed after breaching a demerit point bond.
The 64-year-old, who had played for Collingwood, Essendon and St Kilda between 1973 and 1986, was also caught driving at

He pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while his authorisation was suspended.
Magistrate Angela Bolger imposed a $1200 fine with conviction.
Kink kicked 240 goals during his 154 games for Collingwood before signing with Essendon and St Kilda.
