Three people died after a BP petrol tanker trailer decoupled from a prime mover on the Yackandandah-Wodonga Road.
The tanker crashed into two cars.
The collision occurred on the morning of August 7, 2014.
Heavy Mechanics Pty Ltd had serviced the truck and trailer days earlier.
The Wodonga based business was charged by Worksafe with failing to ensure persons not exposed to risk following the incident.

A trial had been held in Wodonga but the jury was discharged in November 2019 without delivering a verdict.
Judge Christopher Ryan thanked the jurors for their service.
A fresh trial is listed to begin in the Wodonga County Court on June 7.
It's unclear how long the trial is expected to run for.
It's also unclear which judge will preside over the matter.
