Willett will receive his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine next week after it was confirmed all Australian athletes and officials would be given priority access to the jab ahead of the Games.
Despite a third state of emergency declared in Japan last month, Willett said it's been all systems go for the team for the Tokyo Olympics.
The 25-year-old captured the Victorian state title at Echuca on the weekend as he aims to be in peak form for the Games in July.
"Everything is still on track, it's just going to be very controlled and very different to what normally happens," he said.

"We're not expecting to be very free over there, it will be from the accommodation to the range and that will pretty much be it I reckon.
"Preparations are going well. I've had a few domestic comps on where I've been shooting okay and had a good win on the weekend.
"I'll look to head up to Brisbane for the (Queensland) state titles on the first weekend in June. I then head to Mildura for a week and then we have an Australian camp in early July before we head off to the Games."
Willett said the Australian Olympic Committee hasn't made the vaccine compulsory for athletes, but he won't hesitate to get it.
"At least it gives me a bit of peace of mind to be as safe as possible with everything going on," he said.

"It's good we've been given the opportunity to get it."
Willett said it has been tough not being able to travel overseas for World Cup events, but he has continued to work with closely with Olympic gold medallist Russell Mark to be in the best shape possible.
"It's lucky that all the borders are open so we can travel pretty freely across Australia," he said.
"I think everyone is in a different situation. There's still been World Cup events running around the world that other athletes have been heading to.
"We've just got to make the most of the opportunities available to us to prepare."
