CAW chairman Michael Erdeljac said it was a combined effort from the region's 32 members clubs.
"We had to deal with COVID on both sides of the river," Erdeljac said.

"We go from Mount Beauty to Lockhart and Eskdale to Corowa, so it's quite a large region, but we got through without too much drama.
"We had set up our own QR code way back at the start and were months ahead of the Australian government on that front."
Erdeljac paid tribute to Bruce Whitehouse at Cricket NSW and Paul Milo at Cricket Victoria, as well as Wodonga council's Nigel Cunningham and David Armstrong at Albury council, who helped set the guidelines to allow the season to start on schedule.
