The association has provided pink and white match balls to each club to use for its female fixtures.

AWFA resources executive Karen Milne said it's a great chance to celebrate not only the players, but the volunteers who help to get games up and running every week.
"We're also trying to promote female promotion in miniroos as well, so girls from ages five to 11 can come down and play on a Saturday," she said.
"If we don't get numbers through miniroos, we don't have a Sunday competition."
In senior women's matches, Albury Hotspurs host Albury United at Aloysius Park, while Wangaratta takes on Boomers at Willow Park.
