Wodonga Warriors, Albury Bears, Wangaratta Rangers, Benalla Bandits and Porepunkah Panthers have all welcomed under-12 and under-15 sides back into the North Eastern Baseball Association this season.
Bears senior coach Tom Simmons said it's great to see kids back out on the field for the first time in around seven years, with the competition commencing last week.
"There was kids everywhere, it was unreal," Simmons said.
"It's nice to see smiles on their faces.
