Barnawartha is monitoring injuries to three key players ahead of Saturday's home game against Wodonga Saints.
The Tigers lost captain Josh Spence to a suspected concussion during the defeat to Kiewa-Sandy Creek, which means he's likely to sit out round seven.
"He's OK but he'll probably have a little bit of concussion," Tigers co-coach Danny De Marte confirmed.
"He was knocked out when his head hit the ground.
"He'll do the testing and if he's got a concussion, he'll have to sit out the required time.
"We're happy to support the guidelines that have been brought in."
Co-coach Tom Anson and ruckman Adam Elias were also forced out of the game, which the Tigers lost by 29 points.
"Tom came off with a bit of a hamstring so he might miss one or two," De Marte said.
