After a year of cancelled events, the Murray Railway Modellers have received more interest than ever in their annual show.
The 2021 event at the Wodonga Showgrounds will feature the work of members like Greg Hughes.
"Unfortunately, all the train shows were cancelled last year," he said.
"I was to exhibit it last year but COVID kiboshed that.
"It was something that was unavoidable."
Mr Hughes' new module 'Mid Valley Distillery' will be on display for the first time at the weekend.
His eight-metre-long layout 'Barambogie' has locomotives fitted with sound and detailed scenery.
Show organiser Grant Myers encouraged residents to view the wide variety of techniques in model-making.
He said the committee had received more enquiries for the show than ever before.
