The 19-year-old's courage and commitment has never been questioned, but he admits he will make some minor alterations after being suspended for striking a fortnight ago.
"You've obviously got to take it into consideration with this suspended sentence hanging over my head," he admitted.
Clarke was handed a three-match ban for striking Myrtleford's Ryley Sharp on May 1, with two of those suspended for the next two years.
He had been handed two reprimands for incidents at the Murray Bushrangers in 2018 and 2019.
Tribunal chairman Wayne Taylor gave a detailed explanation of the message to Clarke.
"Dylan's history causes us concern," Taylor said at the tribunal.
"The set penalty is two matches and he has a record in the past two seasons.
"If he comes back it will start at two and it's only going to get worse."
Clarke's importance to Raiders can't be underestimated, despite his youth.
He joined illustrious company, including current North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell, debuting as a 15-year-old and his passion for the contest, as well as his ability to win the ball and set up play, is inspirational.
"I just know around the edges at times (I can be) a little bit rough, so I've just got to focus the aggression on the footy and that's my main focus and do what I can to help Raiders win, better myself and better Raiders," he said.

"(Not) crossing the line is something I do need to work on, but I've got to keep playing my footy and focus on what I do well."
