Castles booted nine goals for Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes on Saturday as it destroyed flag contender Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong by 51-points.
Highlighting the performance, Castles' nine goals was more than any side in the competition kicked for the round.
Castles has stormed to the lead on the goalkicking table with 21 goals from three matches.
The Lions' Riley Corbett is next best on 16.

Castles was only cleared to the Goannas on the eve of the season after a clearance wrangle with Corowa-Rutherglen.
