The new weekly update follows daily COVID-19 reports for over a year.
An Albury Wodonga Health spokesperson said daily reporting would return if there was a positive case to report in the community.
"Now that vaccinations are underway, and our community is moving towards a new 'COVID normal', Albury Wodonga Health's daily COVID reports will be transitioning to a weekly format," she said.
"Each Monday, we will report on COVID-19 testing and vaccination figures from the previous week."
There have been 1682 vaccinations since last week, bringing the total number of vaccinations since March to 6737.
Indi MP Helen Haines was among those vaccinated this week, receiving her first AstraZeneca vaccine on Tuesday at Albury Wodonga Health's hub.
There is also a push on to increase flu vaccination rates; while 2020 was a mild year for flu because of social distancing, coverage is required for each flu season.
According to FluTracking, only 45 per cent of Australians aged 18 to 64 have had their flu vaccine, compared with 71.9 per cent at the same time last year.
There is a 66 per cent coverage in those aged 65 and older compared with almost 90 per cent.
Doherty Institute Professor Terry Nolan said the flu vaccine remained as important as ever, particularly after a mild flu season.
"It's not uncommon to see flu 'rebound' following a mild season - we have seen this in recent years in Australia," he said.
A 14-day window between the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine is required.
Ovens Valley MP Tim McCurdy received his flu shot at Robertson's Pharmacy in Wangaratta this week.

"Despite all the attention being on COVID vaccines, it is as important as ever to get your flu shot this season," he said.
Many GPs are offering both the flu vaccine and AstraZeneca.
