The Rovers' new midcourt player has previously played netball overseas after a stint living in London.
"It was really good over there," she said.
"I played in a league similar to the O and M.
"They're competitive over there, so it was a really good experience."
Pryor has joined the Rovers this season alongside friend Millie Mathewson, with the pair coming across from Ovens and King League side Greta.
She's previously played for Wangaratta Magpies in the under-16s, as well as Benalla in the Goulburn Valley League.
"We just made the decision together to give the O and M a go," she said.

"I'm enjoying the club and the challenge, it's been a good transition."
After previously stepping on court in centre and wing-defence, Pryor is this year enjoying seeing the game differently.
"It's my first year playing wing-attack and I'm learning a lot," she said.
"Jenna (Mcleod), Ash (Martin) and Sammy (Kreltszheim) offer some good experience in each third of the court and they just steady the game when we need it."
With the Ovens and Murray League still on hold this weekend, Pryor said the Rovers have come up with an alternative way of keeping the momentum going.
"We're all following each other on an app so that we can stay connected," she said.
