While Victorian players can partake in competition in NSW, onlookers from south of the Murray River are barred from attending clashes under health orders.
Hence fans of Myrtleford and Wodonga Diamonds soccer clubs should not attend matches in Albury tomorrow and Victorian watchers are not okay at this weekend's Hume and Picola league football league games.
Member for Benambra Bill Tilley on Friday afternoon stressed to his constituents, via Facebook, that the NSW health order applied in reply to Victoria's COVID-19 lockdown did not allow for spectators to head north.
He told The Border Mail he did not agree with that approach which also bars Victorian border residents from NSW hotels, clubs, restaurants and churches.
"This is a balls up from all sides and you can't blame wholly NSW because they are only responding to the way the Victorian government is responding to this," Mr Tilley said.
"I don't agree with it, I'm angry."

Member for Albury Justin Clancy acknowledged Mr Tilley's frustration.
"I can understand Bill's concern because part of our sport is to be a spectator to be there to support your club or team but that's reflective of the Victorian health order," Mr Clancy said referring to the limited reasons given for moving about during the lockdown.
He said if changes needed to be made he would seek to press for them when he returned to Sydney next week for parliament.
NSW cross border commissioner James McTavish said there had not been significant adjustment in the way his state's health order was being applied.
"It hasn't really changed so much, what is a bit clearer is what is considered to be reasonable," Mr McTavish said.
"Coming to exercise is something that's okay, coming to watch the footy? No."
Mr Tilley said NSW police told him their applying of rules would be based on "compliance education".
