'A sad day': One of the Border's last video stores shuts its doors
My husband and I met at a DVD store. Mark by the time we have grandchildren and tell our story, our grandkids won't even understand what a DVD is. Have to admit, I miss the days of going in to the DVD store on a Friday evening and choosing movies for the whole weekend. Tash Collis

Instead of throwing them away and causing waste they could sell them to the libraries in the area for people who can't afford Netflix etc for a low price and at least get something for them. Paul Black
We rarely use a DVD, we keep a few good ones on hand at home, only as a just in case though, most things we can stream cheaper then you can rent them. Andrew Pech

Plan to replace motel with servo and takeaway stores
There are enough servos and fast food outlets. Why not make it some other sort of business, something fun for families and children. There are not enough of them. Perhaps even another cinema. There is only one and it's in Albury and kids' movies are not available after lunch. Cobes Mitchem

Another stupid decision from Wodonga Council. I mean, that's JUST what we need ... yet another servo. What we do actually need is the old Wodonga Pound building re-opened and handed over to Wodonga Dog Rescue. But hey, why would council actually listen to what the people who pay their wages want?
