A man who allegedly robbed two women at knife-point in a Lavington park has been refused bail.

Zane Carney, 23, was arrested after police found in him a shed at a Kokoda Street, North Albury, property about 9.20am on Tuesday.
A knife was also seized.
Police said two women, aged 20 and 21, were waiting to meet a friend at Jelbart Park in Moore Street, Lavington, between 8pm and 8.20pm on Monday.

While waiting, Carney allegedly approached the women and demanded cash while threatening the younger woman with a knife.
He allegedly took money before fleeing in a vehicle.
Carney was charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon without a permit.
He was refused bail in Albury Local Court on Tuesday.
The matter will return to court on August 3.
