Charis Inoc, of Ray Mack Real Estate, was named Riverina Trainee of the Year at Thursday's presentation in Griffith.
"Being a finalist was a really big thing for me and winning the award and representing the Riverina for the next stage ... I'm really thankful," she told The Border Mail.
Finalists from Leeton, Temora, Coolaman, Gobbagombalin and Coleambally claimed other categories.
The winners will attend professional development and state interviews next month ahead of the NSW finals.

She thanked her colleagues, family and friends for their continued support through her traineeship and the nomination process.
"Ray and Brenda Mack, Jess Mathewson, Stephanie Millard, Bob and Julie Packer, Ray Buscombe, Emily Inoc, Iris Claire Inoc, Clarence Inoc, Tom, my friends in Philipines, Trisha, Chai and Chacha and all my family back in my hometown," she said..
"I will be forever grateful that I have them in my life.
"I would like to say to fellow young people like me to not give up and stay committed, if there's something you want, just focus on it.
"Don't lose hope, don't give up, just keep pushing, you'll eventually get there."
