The traditional under-16 program transitioned to an under-17 age group in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, but with many now in the club's under-19 program, the Bushies have shifted the focus to the next crop of emerging talent.
A two-match under-16 series will played in the next school holidays, with the Bushies to take on Bendigo Pioneers on June 27 and Gippsland Power on July 2.
"With the pandemic effectively destroying last year's football season, we're extremely pleased to see the high level of talent throughout the under-16 age group in our regions," Murray Bushrangers coach Mark Brown said.
