A third man will face court over his alleged role in an altercation with police outside a Riverina hotel that resulted in two officers being taken to the emergency department.

Police were conducting inspections on a licensed premises on Griffith's Banna Avenue on Saturday night when security guards approached them about a group of four men.
The group had been refused entry to the venue, and the two officers spoke with them before issuing move-on directions.
One of the men allegedly responded by punching a security guard in the head, and when police intervened a 24-year-old male constable was knocked to the ground and also punched in the head.
The 30-year-old man allegedly continued his attack on the police, punching a 32-year-old female probationary constable in the head.

Another man then allegedly held down the constable while the 30-year-old repeatedly punched him while on the ground.
The attackers then fled, with the 30-year-old being run down a short time later in a foot pursuit on the main street.
He was taken to Griffith police station, where he was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer in the execution of duty cause actual bodily harm, two counts of reckless wounding - in company, affray and excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises.
The two officers were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Griffith Base Hospital.
The male officer suffered severe cuts to his head, and chin requiring stitches and the female officer sustained injuries to her head and a cut to the inside of her mouth requiring stitches.
Both officers suffered several other cuts and abrasions. They have since been released from hospital.
A 21-year-old ACT man presented to Griffith police station on Sunday and now faces charges of assault police officer in execution of duty cause actual bodily harm, reckless wounding - in company, affray, excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises, and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal).
He was also charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic) in relation to an unrelated matter.
A third man, aged 22, was arrested and charged after he attended Griffith police station late on Sunday afternoon.
He was charged with assault police officer in execution of duty, resist officer in execution of duty, affray, excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises, common assault, and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal). An outstanding warrant was also executed.
The trio will face Wagga Bail Court today and inquiries continue.
