Cr Cameron said Albury and Lavington pools would have to go for a regional indoor centre to be built.
"I'm looking forward to holding Mr Baker to account," Cr Cameron said.

"He appears to be unrepentant about his plans to close the Albury and Lavington pools and build a $48 million chlorinated Palace of Versailles at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.
"It is pretty ironic that Mr Baker would call into question the expenditure at Lavington Sportsground ($19.6 million), which I didn't support by the way, but at the same time refusing to rule out his previous plan of spending two to three times that amount on an indoor aquatic centre.
"I call on Mr Baker to guarantee the people of Albury that he won't seek the closure of the Lavington and Albury pools and he has moved on from the previous indoor aquatic plan he was touting."
Mr Baker declined to comment on Cr Cameron's views about his motivation for seeking a return.
Cr Cameron was the first Labor Party endorsed candidate to be elected to Albury Council in 1995.
He served one term before a work transfer took him out of Albury before he was re-elected in 2012.
The Australian Workers Union organiser will announce the Labor Party ticket for the Albury election next month.
