A man arrested in Wodonga as part of an investigation into two armed robberies has been extradited to Albury.

The Wodonga man had been assisting police with their investigation into the Wodonga armed robbery, which involved a gun at the United petrol station on McKoy Street on Saturday.

He wasn't charged, but was extradited to NSW for stealing a car in Albury on November 7 last year.
Medcraft entered a guilty plea in Albury court on Wednesday and was placed on a corrections order, and fined $500 for a driving offence.
A NSW Police spokesman said inquiries into the Lavington BP armed robbery, a short time after the Wodonga robbery, continued.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the Wodonga incident was also still being investigated with no charges laid.
