With the competition losing two rounds due to COVID-19 lockdown, league officials opted for a double-header to avoid playing beyond the September 4 grand final date.
The competition resumed last Saturday with the scheduled round nine after the lockdown caused the postponement of rounds seven and eight.
They were originally re-scheduled to the bye weekends (June 12 and July 3).
As matches were not possible on the June long weekend, the league consulted the clubs on what options were available because only one lost round could be re-scheduled.
Round seven will now be played on the scheduled general bye on July 3.
Round eight will be played on August 14, which would have been the first semi final date under the original draw.
