A North Albury man remains in custody and his stepfather in hospital following a vicious fight which led to guns and a hydroponic cannabis system being seized.

Police were called to Wantigong Street in North Albury on Wednesday afternoon.
A fight reportedly broke out between Matthew Richard Brosolo, 36, and his 50-year-old stepdad Paul Brosolo, with the older man allegedly hit in the head, arm and knee with a spirit level.
The 50-year-old attended Albury hospital and was then airlifted to Melbourne with serious injuries, including bleeding on the brain and lacerations to his leg and arm.
Police attended the scene and arrested the younger man about 9.30pm on Wednesday, with a search of his home allegedly finding 58 cannabis plants being grown and loose marijuana.
The 36-year-old allegedly tried to flee during the arrest, which caused a probationary constable to suffer a cut to her hand while arresting him.

Further searches of the 50-year-old's home allegedly uncovered firearms.
Matthew appeared in Albury Local Court on Friday with a blackened eye, supported by his mother and others.
He blew kisses to his family through a video link from custody.
The Wantigong Street resident did not apply for bail.
An Alfred Hospital spokeswoman on Friday confirmed his stepfather was in a stable condition
Police are yet to question him over the incident or the discovery of the firearms.
The younger man will return to court on August 31.
"Thanks mate, I appreciate it," he told magistrate Richard Funston.
