With Matt Louwrier and Austinn Speed holding star Lion forwards Adam Prior and Jack Chesser to one goal each, the home team skipped clear early and never looked back.
"Matt has only taken on a defensive role in the last five rounds so it's new to him," coach Andrew Wilson said.
"He's very competitive and doesn't like being beaten.
"Austin played with confidence and was fantastic as well."
While Culcairn struggled for goalkickers, Michael Galvin starred with six goals to bring his tally to 17 in the past three matches.
Danny Warren and Jesse Harris were also effective.
"We want to commit to the contest and develop the young players," Wilson said.
"The group knows if we turn up and dig in we can pinch a few more wins."
Riley Knobel played well for Culcairn.
Rand-Walbundrie-Walla took three quarters to shake off Howlong by 25 points.
The Spiders produced a vastly improved performance on the back of strong games from Ben Baker and Ash Murray, but couldn't hold Chris Duck, Ben Hunt and Nathan Wardius at bay.
Osborne broke Brock-Burrum's winning run when it took the honours by 54 points.
Holbrook hammered Billabong Crows by 149 points and Shannon Terllch kicked nine goals for Henty in its win over Murray Magpies.
