Employees at a Hay service station have tested negative to COVID-19 after the site was visited by "confirmed cases" of the virus.

NSW Health confirmed on Wednesday evening that Gundagai Coles Express, the Jindera Shell petrol station and the Hay Shell petrol station have all been visited by confirmed cases of the virus.
Anyone who visited the Shell petrol station in Hay between 7.30am and 8.00am on Saturday, July 10 is considered a casual contact, directed to get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
On Thursday morning, staff at the site said they had tested negative.

"We would like to thank the Hay Hospital staff and Murrumbidgee Local Health for the quick turnaround in testing our Staff and getting the results back to us this morning, the professional cleaning service [and] our Staff for being so co-operative," operators of the service station wrote on Facebook.
"As soon as Murrumbidgee Local Health informed us on Wednesday that these people had visited our site on Saturday morning for a total of 20 [minutes], to keep everyone safe we immediately closed our site, informed our Staff to get tested, arranged for a professional cleaning service to thoroughly clean our premises and followed the protocols given to us by Murrumbidgee Local Health."
The operators said they will be reopening their service station after discussions with the health district.
The site was closed on Wednesday afternoon for deep cleaning, operators asking the community of Hay "not to panic".
Meanwhile, anyone who visited Coles Express in Gundagai between 1:00am and 1:30am on Thursday, July 8 or the Shell petrol station in Jindera between 11:30am and 11:45am on Saturday, July 10 is considered a close contact.
They must get tested and immediately self-isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.
NSW Health is urging anyone who lives or works in the areas to be vigilant for the onset of any cold of flu-like symptoms, and to get tested immediately if they appear.
Testing is available at the following sites:
- Gundagai: GP-Led Respiratory Clinic, 134 Mount Street and Gundagai Hospital, Tor Street
- Hay: Hay Hospital, 351 Murray Street
- Albury: Lavington Hall, cnr Urana Rd and Hague Street, and the Albury Showgrounds on Fallon Street
