After a marathon boarding meeting on Wednesday night, the competition carried two motions relating to round 14 matches.
"The first motion carried was for the normal resumption of round 14 football and netball as per the draw," a statement released to club presidents said.
"The second motion carried was for the league to adopt the match ratio method for all grades of football to determine the ladder positions as per By-Law 8.7.3.
"The use of the match ratio method is to limit the disadvantage to the clubs who choose not to play against each other in a round of football as per By-Law 8.7.3."
CDHBU is likely to take up the second motion after being decimated by unavailability due to the high number of its players and coaches living in Victoria.
The Power take on Murray Magpies this weekend.
It is believed all or most other clubs plan to return to the playing arena.
In other matches, Holbrook play Howlong, Jindera host Henty, Lockhart meet Culcairn, Rand-Walbundrie-Walla do battle with Brock-Burrum and Osborne play Billabong Crows.
