AN ICONIC Rutherglen red is celebrating a milestone this year.
Campbells Wines Bobbie Burns Shiraz will mark its 50th consecutive vintage with the 2019 release later this year.
Fifth-generation Campbells Wines winemaker Julie Campbell said the wine showed the true power of the Rutherglen shiraz fruit with the tannin structure for longevity.
"For 50 years now, Bobbie Burns Shiraz has enjoyed a reputation for being of consistently high quality," she said.
"This 50th vintage is a cracking example of the style we seek for our Bobbie Burns Shiraz."
