Hatton is part of a reality TV production, 'Renegades Recruit', with Big Bash League outfit Melbourne Renegades offering a Victoria-based community cricketer the chance to join the club in next month's T20 Strike League in Darwin.
The show had hundreds of applicants and has now been whittled back to 10, including left-arm paceman Hatton.
The program will be streamed live on the Renegades' social media platforms, as well as the Kayo service.
The first episode airs Monday, July 26, at 7pm, with the second at the same time on Thursday, July 29.
The winner will be announced next Tuesday, August 3, with an online public vote during the program to decide the winner.
"I just tried to go in as myself, I'm a pretty humble kind of dude, I'll be voted in pending what people think of me and my ability," he offered.

A Rutherglen product, Hatton joined Cricket Albury-Wodonga club St Patrick's in 2014-15, representing NSW Country against New Zealand provincial outfit Canterbury in February, 2017.
He joined ACT club Ginninderra in December that year and was also picked up by David Warner's grade club, Eastern Suburbs, before the fast bowler's nemesis - a back injury - curtailed his progress.
However, countless hours of rehab with the strength and conditioning staff at the ACT-NSW Country Comets has the speedster primed for a second chance.
"Prior to going to Canberra, I was probably known to be a bit erratic, I still have the odd spell where I try to let them go and they're a bit all over the joint, but I guess I'm a lot more consistent in my line and length," he explained.

Hatton possesses the 'unplayable' ball and combined with his left-arm action, that sets him apart.
