Cheyne Orcher was already wanted for ramming a police car in Melbourne when he repeated the behaviour in Wodonga days later.
Police attended the Border Gateway Motel to arrest him on August 15 last year, but he got into a car and reversed into the officers' vehicle.
Two detectives smashed his car windows and used pepper spray to arrest him.
The 32-year-old had $3900 in cash on him and $12,750 in the car along with scales, ice and another drug.
Orcher had rammed a police car in the Melbourne CBD 10 days earlier.
The Wodonga Magistrates Court last week heard about how $250,000 had been put into a TAB account linked to Orcher last year.
Lawyer Geoff Clancy said his client had been involved in drug trafficking in the North East last year, but it couldn't be proved who put the cash into his account.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Orcher's car was also spotted travelling at 194km/h at Benalla two days before his arrest, but police couldn't prove who was driving.
"The offending before the court is extremely serious," magistrate Ian Watkins said, noting the impact ice had in communities.
"It has also caused havoc to your own life."
The sentencing was put on hold when it became apparent some allegations needed to be withdrawn.
"You've always been pretty fair to me and I started to think 'Jesus, what am I being sentenced for?'," Orcher told Mr Watkins, who will now sentence him on Wednesday.
