Ladder leaders Osborne and finals contenders Lockhart are directly impacted and may not be able to host their final two home matches of the season given any opposition club with players and officials who live or work in Victoria would no be permitted to enter the southern state once they've travelled there.
Osborne are away this weekend, but the Tigers host Holbrook in round 16 and Culcairn in the final round, while the Demons have a home game this weekend against Murray Magpies, which was swapped earlier in the season, before they host Henty and Howlong in rounds 16 and 17.
As it stands, Murray Magpies would be in a more difficult position to last weekend when it struggled to field seniors and reserves due to Victoria's lockdown.
He agreed players or officials who live or work in Victoria can't be expected to put their livelihood at risk for a game of football.
"It certainly makes it hard," Murray Magpies president Ted Miller said.
"I didn't expect that."
