He finished the SDRA season on a high after First Seal won the final race at Corowa on Monday with the new season set to commence on Sunday.
Beer notched 30 winners to eclipse last year's tally of 25.
The young trainer said it was satisfying to secure his first trainers title since relocating from Mornington three years ago.
"For not having been here long, there's some fantastic trainers in this area and been training here a long time and some good people that have won the premiership as well so to be amongst them is terrific," Beer told The Daily Advertiser.
"We've got a great team moving forward and an even better team of people than we do horses."

Trainer Donna Scott finished runner-up with 24 wins after expanding her stable significantly this season.
Wagga trainer Gary Colvin finished third on 16.
Trainer Trevor Sutherland has had a stranglehold on the trainers title in recent seasons and won his sixth premiership last season with 46 winners.
However, Sutherland has been on the sidelines for the majority of this season in relation to the alleged slaughter of racehorses.
Albury based Blaike McDougall notched the most dominant victory in recent history in the SDRA jockeys premiership after riding more than 100 winners.
He easily eclipsed last season's tally of 59 wins to claim back-to-back titles.
McDougall is enjoying the best season of his career and has ridden 192 winners.
He is still locked in a battle to win the national jockeys title with Chris Parnham who leads the race on 194.
McDougall uncharacteristically failed to land a winner at Corowa on Monday and again on Tuesday at Cowra.
He is quickly running out of meetings to catch his Western Australian counterpart.
Both Beer and McDougall were recently crowned Albury's leading trainer and jockey after the club's final meeting earlier this month.
Albury Racing Club's first meeting of the new season is on August 17.
