Thirty months in the making, We Will Rock You, will deliver a sold-out season at Albury Entertainment Centre over eight days.

The musical by Queen and Ben Elton was scrapped six weeks out from its 2020 show owing to the global pandemic before it was rescheduled for this winter.

We Will Rock You stars Border performer and former Australian Idol finalist Liam Dalby as Galileo and Albury newcomer Simone Crossley as Scaramouche; they will be joined by a stellar cast the likes of Niki Strauss, Simon Goss, John Parry and an experienced ensemble.

We Will Rock You director Tim McLaren said the 50 cast and crew - all based in the Border Bubble - felt grateful they could go ahead within the restrictions.

"The community on the Border needs some fun!" he said.

Seven sold-out shows (complying with 50 per cent venue capacity) will run on Friday night at 8pm until Saturday, August 7. AEC Box Office has a waitlist.

It also runs on Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, Thursday at 7.30pm, Friday, August 6, 8pm, and Saturday, August 7, 2pm and 8pm.
