Thirty months in the making We Will Rock You plans to do exactly that for Border audiences. The musical by Queen and Ben Elton was scrapped six weeks out from its 2020 show owing to the global pandemic before it was rescheduled for this winter. Opening at Albury Entertainment Centre last night, the show stars Border performer and former Australian Idol finalist Liam Dalby as Galileo and Albury newcomer Simone Crossley as the sarcastic "girl gone wrong" Scaramouche. Dalby and Crossley will be joined on stage by a stellar cast of rock stars including Border performers Niki Strauss, Simon Goss, John Parry and an experienced ensemble.
