THE Tallangatta and District league has followed the Ovens and Murray and called off senior football for another week.
In a tough decision for the competition, officials decided tonight the negatives outweighed the positives in pushing ahead without crowds.
"It's difficult but I think the right call was made," one official said.
"There were too many hurdles."
Clubs will determine if the TDFL plays junior football this weekend.
Meanwhile, despite initial optimism the Upper Murray is highly unlikely to return this weekend.
Officials held a meeting tonight with Tumbarumba being mooted as a possible host to avoid crowd Victorian restrictions.
That appears unlikely to happen with officials targeting next weekend as a return date.
