Cases peaked in Victoria on August 4 at 687 and didn't get back under 100 until August 28 (90 cases). It then took until October 31 for Victoria to reach its first 'doughnut day' in the second wave.

It has been now been 45 days since the first case triggering this NSW outbreak was reported, and there are 2512 active cases.
After 45 days following the hotel quarantine leak in Victoria at the end of May, there were 1473 active cases.
