Indigo Shire businesses are among others around the state set to receive support to implement ever-changing COVID-19 rules and restrictions.
Rachel Clayton has been appointed as the council's new COVID-19 business concierge, a six-month state-funded position.
Ms Clayton said her role was to help businesses feel confident with applying COVID-safe practices to firstly prevent, then manage outbreaks.
"One of the biggest challenges is the changing of restrictions," she said.
"So having to decipher what the new restrictions are and how it affects them operationally is a challenge for [businesses].
"A lot of them are tired, they're fatigued.
"This has been going on for quite a while so I think for them it's just nice to know there's support out there."

"Most of our business are small businesses and they're flat out just trying to operate and anything in addition is a real challenge.
"Whereas we're trying to say this role will simplify what's required of you and clarify what's required of you."
Ms Clayton said she would be go to as many businesses in person as possible, starting with those in customer facing industries like retail, hospitality and accommodation services.
"It's important because not only am I helping business hopefully feel safe to operate ... it can also be a bit more like an advocacy role," she said.
"If I'm getting things told to me by businesses that are important to them, I can relay that to council for messaging or maybe the state government."
Businesses are also welcome to call Ms Clayton with specific concerns.
