Fraser, who turned professional in 2002 and won seven titles, including three on the European Tour, has been appointed director of coaching at Kingswood Peninsula Country Golf Club.
The 43-year-old began to wind back from full-time European Tour commitments in 2018 and said the offer to take on the position at a top club like Kingswood Peninsula was too good to refuse.
"I'll still play maybe three or four events for the year and the odd the pro-am, but that's about it," Fraser said.
"As far as overseas travel, I'm pretty much done with that. With all that's going on in the world at the moment, I don't really want to be travelling and haven't wanted to travel for a long time anyway.

"I've had close to a couple of years off and this opportunity has come up at a pretty good time really."
Fraser had worked under long-time Kingswood Golf Club and then Peninsula Kingswood coach David Capaldo, but his resignation created an opening.
"I was going to be in the position in a couple of years' time where I felt like I was going to completely stop playing and this has kind of accelerated it," Fraser added.
"It's just too good of an opportunity not to do it. A club like that is like a Royal Melbourne or Kingston Heath, it's the same sort of role someone would get at one of those clubs, so I'd be mad not to have a go at it."
