The Good Universities Guide rated CSU as first for employability of graduates within four months of graduation for the fifth year in a row this year.
Interim Vice-Chancellor Professor John Germov said it showed CSU was delivering for the regions.
"It just shows you that regional universities like Charles Sturt, we're the premier regional university," he said.
"You'll have the best chance of getting a job and a high paying job at that."

Professor Germov said the university had maintained its rating because it aligned its degrees with industries experiencing job growth, because it ensured its degrees left graduates job ready and because it also offered students online study options.
He said he was proud of the rating.
"It just shows you that you don't have to go to the cities to study," he said.
"You can stay in the regions and you'll get a high quality education, that's highly relevant to your future career, and you'll be one of the most employable graduates in the country."
