The league was forced to cancel Saturday's round 16 after the Victorian Government enforced its sixth COVID lockdown, as at 8pm on Thursday night.
It means the O and M now has only two regular season games left before the four-week finals campaign, but questions are naturally being raised if the season can proceed.
"We want to remain committed to our fixture and that means our finals will start on August 28, at this point in time," O and M general manager Craig Millar explained.

"I was doing an interview and one of the employees there plays for North Albury and she was asked if she was looking forward to playing and she said, 'I cannot wait to get back playing' and I thought, 'North Albury can't play finals in football or A grade netball this year, so that gave me a bit of perspective, I suppose, on what it means'."
