The left-arm speedster won through to the last three of the 'Renegades Recruit', with Big Bash League outfit Melbourne Renegades offering a Victoria-based community cricketer the chance to join the club in this month's T20 Strike League in Darwin.
The winner was decided by a public vote, with North Geelong's Tom Mathieson winning through after claiming 39 per cent of the more than 7000 fan votes cast.
Hatton also proved extremely popular.
"I can't thank everyone enough and I'm so grateful, it's humbling," he suggested after his foray into reality TV.
"It's the most I've ever been motivated for a season only because of the support I've had."
The 27-year-old represented Riverina last year, but is chasing higher honours.
